Lydia was born and raised in Floyd, New Mexico and would later move to Amarillo, Texas where she would live for over 65 years.
Lydia was a woman of love and commitment and lived a life of serving others. Lydia was married to the love of her life Leonard for over 50 years, spent her time volunteering at Cornerstone Outreach Ministry helping feed the community of less fortunate, and was always looking for anything she could to help someone other than herself. Lydia enjoyed helping the neighbors of her community, always quick to lend a helping hand or comforting ear. Lydia worked for Southwest Beauty Supply for over a decade and loved every day there. Lydia loved her cats and dogs and every person she met. She will be missed by all who were blessed to have known her.
Lydia is preceded in death by her loving husband Leonard R. Williams, and grandsons Tim and Loren Williams.
Left on this earth to carry on her legacy are her sons David and wife Karen Williams, Michael and wife Sheryl Williams, Clifford and wife Raynee Williams and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A visitation for Lydia will be held Friday, October 28, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Memorial Park Funeral Home, 6969 East Interstate 40, Amarillo, Texas 79118. A funeral service will occur Saturday, October 29, 2022 at 2:00 PM, 6969 East Interstate 40, Amarillo, Texas 79118. A graveside service will occur Saturday, October 29, 2022 at 3:00 PM at Memorial Park Cemetery, 6969 East Interstate 40, Amarillo, Texas 79118.
