Lou Alice Dennis who was also known as "Granny" "Aunt Dodie" and "Mama Lou" passed away peacefully at home surround by her family on June 12, 2021. She was born March 4, 1931 in Marriott, Oklahoma to Calvin and Maggie Cain Martindale.
Lou was married to her husband James for 53 years and enjoyed being a housewife as well as doing payroll and secretary duties part time at their business, Dennis Quick Auto. Lou liked to go camping and traveling with her husband and one of her favorite trips was going to Talladega to NASCAR. Lou also loved to garden and she had her favorite flower geraniums of every color in all of her flowerbeds. She was a humorous, compassionate and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, mother in law and friend.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband James Dennis Sr; granddaughter Kara Barrow; great grandson Jeremiah, niece Lois Warren and sister Inez O’Dell.
Left to cherish her memory is her son James Dennis Jr and wife Trinity, granddaughter Amanda Lacy, and great- grandchildren; Aaliyah Lacy, Alex Lacy, Trinity Lacy, Maggie Barrow and Chloe Barrow.
