Lavonia Clarene Johnson, 96 passed away peacefully on Mach 17, 2021. Celebration of Life will be held on March 24, 2021 at 2 pm at Griggs Schooler Gordon Funeral Directors Pioneer Chapel 5400 Bell St with Pastor Mark England presiding.
Lavonia was born in Plainview in 1925. She married Claude Johnson in 1944, they had four children; Claudia, Steve, Jimmy and Johnny. She had six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Lavonia request that in lieu of flowers donations be made in her honor to Jan Warner Adult Day Care where she spent many happy days doing crafts and enjoying time with friends.
Lavonia is preceded in death by her parents; her husband Claude; sons Johnny and Jimmy; brother Norman and sister Shara.
