She was born March 25, 1927 in Chillicothe, Texas to L.O. (Pat) and Mattie Mae Patton.
Lauretta retired from Asarco in Amarillo after 25 years of service. She loved to travel, going to the mountains with family or to the wine country with friends. Lauretta lived in Arizona for the past 30 years with her late husband Dayle and spent the last 6 months back in Amarillo with her family, loving on her grandkids and great-grandkids as only a grandmother can.
She is survived by three sons; Sam Clark Jr., Randall Wright and Ward Wright; four daughters: Brenda G. Conners, Barbara C. Smith, Daylene Wright and Cindi Wright Frazier one; sister: Linda Fry, 25 Grandchildren, 33 Great-Grandchildren, and 2 Great-Great-Grandchildren. Lauretta is preceded in death by one son; Darrell Lynn Clark, 1st husband; Samuel Franklin Clark, 2nd husband Dayle Wilson Wright, Parents; L.O. (Pat) and Mae Patton and 3 brothers; Wayne, Clayton, Joe Patton.
She will be missed by her loving family.
