Larry Granado 56, of Amarillo passed away March 23, 2023 in Amarillo. Visitation-Vigil will be Tuesday, March 28, 2023 from 4-7 pm, with Rosary at 6:00 p.m. at Griggs Schooler Gordon Funeral Directors 5400 Bell St. Funeral Mass will be said at 10 Am Wednesday, March 29, 2023 at St. Thomas the Apostle Church with burial at 2 pm at St. Anthony’s Cemetery in Hereford. Larry was born in Lubbock, Texas to Lorenzo and Janie Granado. He attended Hereford schools where he played football, baseball and basketball. He enjoyed being around his family. He adored his twin daughters, Parker and Preslee, who were the loves of his life. He loved his work as a journeyman electrician and loved to travel anywhere and everywhere his work took him, but his favorite place was Maine. He was an amazing self taught guitarist and loved to sing as well. Larry was a lifelong fan of the Dallas Cowboys.
He is preceded in death by his father, Lorenzo Granado, a brother Ruben Granado and his brother-in-law Richard Sanchez.
Left to cherish his memory are his beloved daughters Parker and Preslee Johnson; his mother Janie Granado; sisters Gracie Granado and Martha Sanchez and brother Raymond Granado. Nieces and Nephews: Eli Ruiz, Derek Ruiz, Brandi Ruiz, Jamie Granado, Haley Sanchez, Adrienne Sanchez, and Jared Sanchez along with many other loving family members and friends.
Larry loved his Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, and prayed without fail for salvation and deliverance.
