Joseph was a proud member of The Gideons International, a 50 year member of the Masonic Lodge and retired from the BNSF railroad after serving for 45 years.
Joseph is preceded in death by parents Glover and Gladys Thompson, sister Barbara Ramsey and brother T.G. Thompson.
Joseph will be lovingly remembered by his wife Jackie, his daughters Shelia Konstanzer and Robin Davis, grandchildren Ashley Longer, Melissa Trevino, Megan Sturm and Michael Joseph Davis, four great-grandsons, sister Elizabeth Bays and two nephews.
A visitation for Joseph will be held Thursday, June 23, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Griggs Schooler Gordon Funeral Directors, 5400 Bell St., Amarillo, Texas 79109. A funeral service will occur Friday, June 24, 2022 at 11:00 AM at River Fellowship, 5211 Bell St., Amarillo, Texas 79109. A graveside service will occur Friday, June 24, 2022 at 12:00 PM at Llano Cemetery, 2900 S Hayes St, Amarillo, Texas 79103.
Serving as pallbearers are Kevin Konstanzer, Garth Davis, Brad Trevino, Samuel Sturm, Michael Joseph Davis, Edd McKinney and K. Anderson.
