Joe Bee Jackson

Joe B. Jackson, 56 of Amarillo passed away May 11, 2012. Graveside services will be at 3:00 p.m. Monday, May 14, 2012 at Llano Cemetery East with Pastor Jerry Davey officiating.Llano Cemetery East by Griggs-Schooler-Gordon Funeral Directors. Joe was born August 3, 1955 in Amarillo and was raised in the Presbyterian Children’s Home from age 3 to 18. He attended Amarillo High School. Joe married Jackie Armstrong on April 11, 1981. Joe worked as a cabinet maker and was a member of the Moose Lodge 1481. Joe was preceded in death by his parents, Albert Lawrence and Bee Sidle Jackson; and 3 brothers, Benny Ray Jackson, Jim Sol Jackson and Pat Lee Jackson.Joe is survived by his wife, Jackie Jackson; sons, James Lawrence Jackson and wife Bobbie, William Seddell Jackson and fiancé Sara Burton; father-in-law, James Armstrong; sisters, Ann Pryde of Sheridan, Wyoming and Jeannie Hibbert of Nucla, Colorado; six grandsons and 4 granddaughters; also special friends, Shane and Ashley Thomas.
