Jimmy Wayne Jones 86, of Amarillo passed away January 13, 2023 in Amarillo. Visitation will be held Monday, January 16, 2023 from 5-7 pm at Memorial Park Funeral Home 6969 I- 40 E.
He was born in Roscoe, Texas. Jimmy proudly served his country in the US Army. He married the love of his life Sandy, they spent 50 wonderful years together. Jimmy loved spending time with his family and friends. He was a hardworking simple man who enjoyed bowling and playing golf in his free time. He was the owner of JJ Electric for over 23 years. He was a long time member of Canyon Country Club and was inducted into the Bowing Hall of Fame in 2021. He will be deeply missed.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his loving wife Sandy Jones and grandson Toby Mask.
He is survived by his sons: Robert Jones and wife Debbie and Derek Jones and wife Julie. Three grandchildren: Ashley Watson and husband Jon, Heidi Jones, and Mason Jones and a great granddaughter Violet Watson and a great grandson Rowan Gwyn.
