Jay was born in Alexandria, Louisiana to Morris and Mary Robinson. He met and married the love of his life Vickie Loftin. Jay was a loving, caring good honest man. His family was very important to him. He worked at Owens Corning for over 40 years. In his free time he was rarely still as he enjoyed fishing, riding his motorcycle, or building something. Jay was absolutely devoted to his Christian faith and a great example of a man that followed God.
He is preceded in death by his parents; grandparents, a brother Dale Robinson and his step father Robert Hall.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 51 years Vickie, his children Shonda McCleskey and husband Wyman and Jason Robinson and wife Davon. A very special brother in law Kale Loftin. Along with four grandchildren Bree Clower and her husband Coy, Kayla McCleskey, Brooke Scifers and her husband Drake, and Ethan Robinson and his wife Dru. Additionally, 3 great grandchildren Krayton, Kutter, Everett and one on the way, Klancy.
A visitation for Jay will be held Friday, November 10, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Memorial Park Funeral Home, 6969 I-4 East, Amarillo, TX 79118. A celebration of life will occur Saturday, November 11, 2023 at 10:00 AM, 6969 I-40 East, Amarillo, TX 79118. A burial will occur Saturday, November 11, 2023 at Memorial Park Cemetery, 6969 I-40 East, Amarillo, TX 79118.
