Mr. James Banks, 80, died Saturday, October 22, 2022 at BSA Hospice in Amarillo, Texas.
He was born September 11, 1942, in Commerce, Texas to William and Christine Banks.
He leaves behind a wife of 59 years, Lynda Banks, a son, James Banks (San Antonio), and a daughter, Kelsie Banks (Amarillo, Texas). He is survived by four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
James was a long-time employee of Bell Helicopter and a retiree of Lockheed Martin. During the course of his work, James enjoyed travelling extensively across the world. He was passionate about aviation and military history. James was an active volunteer within his community and volunteered frequently with local police departments.
