Ismael M. Chavez

He was born to Pedro and Roberta Chavez on June 17, 1942 in Mexico. Ismael moved to Amarillo in 1978 and worked at various places. He retired from Cenex Harvest. Ismael was a hardworking man who would do anything for anyone without asking for anything in return. He had a zest for life and enjoyed being outdoors. His family was very important to him. Ismael loved watching baseball, he was a Chicago Cubs diehard fan. He will be deeply missed.

He is preceded in death by parents, three sisters and one brother.

He is survived by his loving wife Virginia; his children Josefina Coffer and husband Don; Ismael Chavez Jr; Roberto Chavez and Steve Chavez and wife April. Ten grandchildren: Trebor, Joshua, Braylan, Jaden, Ayden, Ace, Luka, Rio,Tahlik and Victoria; three great grandchildren along with many other loving family and friends.
