Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 18, 2014 at Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel of Memories, with Kevin Deckard, Associate Pastor Polk Street Methodist Church officiating.
Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery
Henry was born on December 11, 1916 to Alva and Addie Davis in Weatherford. He grew up in New Deal and graduated from WTSU in 1942. Henry was an avid WT booster and fan of all sports at the university. He was a longtime member of Polk Street Methodist Church. Henry enjoyed fishing in Colorado and spending time with his family.
Henry is preceded in death by his parents, and his first wife, Mary Estella Davis who passed in 1960
Henry is survived by his loving wife Betty Ann Davis; a son, Craig Stephen Davis of Lewisville; two daughters, Nita Ruth Davis of Throckmorton, CO and Shelly Sue Davis Hamlett of Dallas; five grandchildren, Stephen and Christopher Davis, and Allan, Lauren, and Alex Hamlett; and one great-grandchild, Christopher Davis
Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 5 to 7pm at the funeral home.
