Harold Gordon Fort was born in Hereford to George and Dovie Fort on June 19,1934. He was a hardworking Christian man who never met a stranger and was always quick to lend a hand to anyone in need. He had an amazing sense of humor. His family was very important to him he loved them unconditionally, teaching them to live, laugh and love but most of all to enjoy life.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife Jerry Gay Fort his parents and two sisters.

Left to cherish his memories are his children Janice Thompson and husband Lynn, Phyllis Cook and husband Norman, Mike Fort and wife Leah. A very special friend Georgia Stephenson, sister Jean Peeler. Nine grandchildren, twenty- two great grandchildren and two great-great Grandchildren..

Harold was preceded in death by his parents George Oran Fort and Dovie Mae Coursey Fort; wife Jerry Gay Fort and two sisters. He leaves behind 9 Grandchildren, 22 great-Grandchildren and 2 great- great Grandchildren to cherish his memory.
