Frank Haney, 60, of Amarillo passed away Wednesday, January 31, 2018.
Celebration of life services will be Friday, February 02, 2018 at 2 pm in the Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel of Memories with Pastor Carlos Cranford and wife Terra presiding. Services are entrusted to Memorial Park Funeral Home of Amarillo.
Frank was born August 31, 1957 in Denver City, Texas to Louis E. Haney and Deloris I. Haney-Jordan. He married the love of his life, Karen in 1979, and together they raised six wonderful children. He was a strong man who loved everyone and would help anyone in need with compassion and guidance that was insurmountable. He was a lover of nature, especially the lake. If there was an activity that could be done on the water, he did it. He loved to fish and no matter where he was, he could find a fishing hole to drop a line. He had a love for putting his knees in the breeze and taking a ride on his Harley, but his most prized hobby was spending time with his family whom he absolutely adored signing karaoke and jamming some good music.
He was preceded in death by his father Louis, sister in law Debbie Lawings, brother in law Jackie Hooper, daughter in law Melissa Hashaw, nephew Jimmy Perry, nephew Jason Cychorze, and niece “little” Rhonda Worsham. He is survived by his bride of 40 years Karen, Daughters Jody Hernandez and husband Scott of Amarillo, Misty Chambers and husband Steven of Amarillo, sons Jeff Haney and wife Tiffany of Cleburne, Andrew Haney and wife Hermaleen of Granbury, Jimmy Haney and Wife Jennifer of Cleburne, Franklin Lewis Haney and wife Ashley of Granbury, , his mother Deloris Haney-Jordan of Amarillo, brothers Jessie Haney and wife Kari of Ft Worth, Edward Lee Haney and wife Becky of Azle, Johnny Haney of Amarillo, Gary Haney of Amarillo, sisters Doris Perry and Husband RL of Ft Worth, Debbie Haney of Lubbock, Ruthie Haney of Amarillo, Sandra Haney of Amarillo, Rhonda Heffner of Amarillo; 35 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews as well as many other family and friends.
