He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Preceded in death by his son, Felipe Dominguez Jr. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Coty Dominguez. 4 daughters; Dina Morris (Doug), Liz Dominguez, Tencha Bradley (John), and Susi Wallace (Toby). He has seven amazing grandchildren; Miranda, Shawn, Tracy, Kreisun, Ethan, Ian, and Sloan and 4 great-grandchildren; Kaliya, Ayden, Blaikley, and Kaislee.
He moved his young wife and kids to the United States in 1973 for a better life. He worked and raised his family in Gruver, Texas for 32 years and then moved to Amarillo, Texas in 2005 to be closer to family. He loved working and staying active. He retired from Micro Technologies earlier this year after 17 wonderful years of service. He was loved and respected by all of his coworkers.
He enjoyed spending time with his family. He was also a problem-solver who loved taking on projects at work and around the house. He never met a stranger and if he did, he quickly made them a friend. He was honest to a fault. He instilled the values that we now hold dear…love of family, hard work and help when asked.
He will be missed by all who knew him.
