Date of Death: January 10, 2014 in Amarillo

Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at Southlawn Baptist Church, with Pastor Greg Kinch officiating.

Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery by Memorial Park Funeral Home, 6969 I-40 East.

Everett went to his heavenly home January 10, 2014. He was born July 4, 1920 in Stratford, OK to Dee Lumas Womack and Iva Lewis Womack. Everett first entered the Air Force in 1942 and then transferred over to the Army 104th Infantry Division. After leaving the service in December of 1946 he moved his family to Amarillo from Quitaque. He loved to hunt, fish and visit with family. Mr. Womack worked for Bob Garner of Garner Motors for 54 years and at the Autoplex after that before retiring at the age of 80.

Everett was preceded in death by his wife, Viola Bernice Womack; his parents and 5 siblings.

Everett is survived by 2 daughters, Bonita Ann Staples and husband Ronni of Arlington and Linda Sue Lebow and husband Floyd of Amarillo; 2 granddaughters, Lisa Lamberson of Amarillo and Ronica Staples of Dallas; a brother, Jim Womack of Mid West City, OK and numerous nieces and nephews.
