Dorothy was born April 30, 1930 in San Antonio to Fred and Dorothy Robbins. She married Emory Johnson on December 26, 1949 and they were happily married for 61 years. She was devoted to taking care of her family. She was intent on assuring her children were brought up educated and knowing God. She was a member of the Church of Christ at the Colonies. She was a Mary Kay consultant for many years. Dorothy was a loving and devoted wife and mother and she will be forever missed.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Emory Johnson; her parents; a sister Merle Baragar and a granddaughter, Rebecca.
Dorothy is survived by her children, Michelle Collier and husband Gregg of Houston, Dawn Drew and husband Irv of Torrance, California and David Johnson and wife Verena of Amarillo; grandchildren, Aaron Collier and fiancée Anisha Perez, Jessica Gardner and husband Jared, Jake Collier, Van and Justin Preiss, Steven and Lauren Johnson.
