Dorothy was born Dec. 24, 1925, in Florida to Ray and Anna Matthews.
Dorothy was a pastor’s wife prior to her husband’s death, taught adult Bible study classes and later was a member of San Jacinto Assembly of God. She enjoyed gardening and cooking for her family and going to visit her church family. Dorothy worked at Pantex as a clerk and retired after 18 years of service. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who dearly loved her family. Dorothy also was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl F. Graves; two brothers; and two sisters.
Survivors include two sons, Timothy Graves and wife Holly of Golden, Colo., and Randal Graves and wife Francis of Tomball; two daughters, Linda Compton and husband James of Amarillo and Delores Contreras and husband Henry of Panhandle; nine grandchildren; and seven great-
grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
