Donna will lie in state on Friday, May 15, 2020 from 8:30am to 1:00pm in the Memorial Park Funeral Home located at 6969 E. Interstate 40 in Amarillo. A graveside service will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery at 2:00pm with Pastor Greg Corona of Hillside Christian Church presiding. Donna was born July 11, 1939 in Wister, Oklahoma to Theodore and Maurine (Claiborn) Keys. Donna married Bobbie on August 11, 1960 in Amarillo Texas. She traveled the world with Bobbie during his Air Force career. She was a devoted wife and mother, who raised six children.
In her spare time, she enjoyed bowling, and was an avid reader. Donna also enjoyed the company of her many friends. She passed away after a brave and lengthy battle with both Alzheimer’s, and Breast cancer.
She was proceeded in death by her husband of 42 years Bobbie G Jackson Sr., her son Bobbie G Jackson Jr, and her brother Jimmy Keys and her parents. Those left to cherish her memories are her five daughters Janice Lewison and husband Scott, and Kathy Owens of Humble TX, Anna Singletary of Hooker Ok, Velinda Pacheco and husband Jerry of Amarillo, and Kim Graham and husband Jason of Poteau Ok. One sister Linda Grissell of Wister Ok; 15 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and 1 great – great grandchild.
