Don and His Wife came out to Idaho to visit Us and My Mom ( Dolores Walker) His cousin. We had a very nice visit.  He and his wife were very nice and we really enjoyed there visit with us. We are so sad to hear that he has passed away. My condolences to the family. 

In 1961-2, several of us boys from Palo Duro, would drink, and go the the bowling alley to bowl and raise a ruckus.
Don threw us out on more than one occasion.
I still remember his white t-shirts. In the last few years, I was still bowling at Eastridge, and was amazed to see his familiar face, still there, and still wearing a white t-shirt. We had some good laughs about the "old Days".

Donald Howard was a  beloved cousin of mine. He was such a blessing helping me with my grams when she was in Amarillo and me living in AZ.. He was always there with open arms and ready to help in any way. He was my rock when she passed, and once again with open arms helped me with all the arrangements.  I will miss our phone calls and visits. You are loved dearly by many.. What a family gathering must be going on in your heavenly home and ohhhh the music that's being played and sung.. Love you all

Most of us realize that our own strength is not always enough to get through some of the situations that this life brings. At those difficult times, it is wise to call on God for extra strength and for His strength to help sustain you when your own strength fails. (Psalms 28:8 and Isaiah 40:29) Sending my deepest condolences to the entire Mansel family.

Don was a dear cousin.  He was 6 years older and looked after me some when I was little.  I recall his love of music and family.  I regret that I did not know of his passing until this evening.  My condolences to his family.  He will be missed.

I don't remember a time without know Don, he was an awesome man and gave the best hugs.  Loved to hear him sing when he came to the Veterans hospital.
