Carol J. Kennedy

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday May 3, 2014 in Memorial Park Chapel of Memories with Danny Lucas officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by Memorial Park Funeral Home, 6969 E. Interstate 40.

Mrs. Kennedy was born Dec. 23, 1933, in Ardmore, Okla., to Victor and Mary Wells. She graduated from Amarillo High School in 1951, and later graduated from Amarillo College with a degree in business. Carol married Charlie Kennedy in 1966.

She worked for several government agencies and retired from Pantex in 1996. Mrs. Kennedy was a member of Second Baptist Church. She enjoyed sports, singing and helping people who were in need.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and a sister.

Survivors include her husband, Charlie Kennedy of Amarillo; two sons, Terry Williamson of Amarillo and Dorman Williamson of Terrell; two brothers, Victor Wells of Frisco and Ullie Wells and wife Lorene of Tucson, Ariz.; a sister, Lorene Wells of Denton; her caregiver, Barbara Stallings of Amarillo; her grandchildren, Kyle Williamson of Terrell and Quinn Williamson of Hurst; and a great-grandson, Dean Williamson of Wylie.

The family suggests memorials be to Alzheimer’s Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Floor 17, Chicago, IL 60601.
