Carl was a proud member of the Masonry and the Shriners. In his free time Carl enjoyed fishing, hunting and collecting guns and knives. Mr. Campbell gained lots of friends over his lifetime. He loved catering and participated in several functions. He also worked at Amarillo Country club, Tascosa Country club. Park Central Retirement/Long term care facility and several years with Jack Siesmore. Working hard and staying busy made him happy.
Carl is preceded in death by his parents Maggie Porter and Ivan Harris, brothers Henry, Herman and Bobby Campbell and sister Joy Ford.
Left on this earth to carry on his legacy is his loving wife Lynna Campbell, sons Chad Campbell, Scott and Gayland Lee and Kiley West, daughters Carla Coffer, Ronna Jackson and Karen Stavig, brothers Donell and Roy Campbell and eighteen grandchildren and thirty-two great-grandchildren.
A visitation for Carl will be held Monday, May 16, 2022 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Griggs-Schooler-Gordon Funeral Directors, 5400 Bell St, Amarillo, Texas 79109. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at 2:00 PM, 5400 Bell St, Amarillo, Texas 79109. A graveside service will occur Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at 3:00 PM at Memorial Park Cemetery, 6969 East Interstate 40, Amarillo, Texas 79118.
Serving as pallbearers are Chad Campbell, Chase Martin, Scott Lee, Delvin Wilson, Kiley West, DeAndre Thomas & Lim Crain. Serving as honorary pallbearers are Glenn Coffer, Donell Campbell, Gayland Lee, Roy Campbell, Tevon McDonald, Paul Jackson, Xavier Ford, Trey Matthews, Cameron Coffer, Christopher Coffer, the Masons and the Shriners.
