Brian Kent Ayres

Brian graduated from Palo Duro High and attended West Texas State University. He began his career as a meat cutter at Johnny’s Home town foods in Claude, Texas and later worked as a meat cutter at United, Food King, and was the Market manager at Albertson’s in Amarillo before beginning his career as a meat buyer with Affiliated Foods until he retired in 2021. Brian and Faith were married on June 18, 1999. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, outdoorsman, he enjoyed playing a round of golf, but valued God and Family above all else. Brian was a beloved son, brother, husband, father, and grandfather, he will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Everyone would be asked to find comfort in their fond memories of his amazing sense of humor, smile that would light up the room, never ending blue eyes, and his Faith in God our savior. He was preceded in death by his parents Clyde Ayres and Jean Ayres.

Brian is survived by his wife; Faith Ayres, children; Melissa Kitson, Michael Ayres & wife Jessica, Michelle Camp and husband David, and Brian Ayres, grandchildren; Brittney Elliott, Shawn Elliott, Summer Ayres, Skyler Ayres, Autumn Ayres, Stella Camp, Shilo Camp, and Slayton Camp: sister and brother-in-Law; Linda and Dennis Clayton, brother; Gary Ayres, nephews; Todd Clayton, Paul Clayton, and Gary Ayres Jr, in-laws; Dan and Faye Powers, and extended Family
