Bobby Lawrence Brant 97 of Frisco, Texas passed from this world September 15, 2024. Bobby was born in Gage, OK on June 14, 1927 to William Henry Brant and Noma Pearl Haines. He graduated from Gage High School and went to work for Santa Fe Railroad. He met and married Thelma Jo Northam on November 18, 1947. They were married just short of 60 years. They had 2 daughters, Bobbie Jo and Beverly Sue. Bobby worked for Santa Fe for 44 years as a dispatcher and before taking an early retirement he was the Chief Dispatcher in Amarillo. He and Jo liked to travel, go to family reunions in different places, take cruises, and visit the family in Frisco, TX. He liked to do yard work, read cowboy books and thrillers and just about everything in between. Once he moved to assisted living, he enjoyed Bingo, Rumicube,and balloon volleyball. He loved to go gambling and to play poker with the grandkids. He was very interested in politics and believed that everyone was entitled to hear his opinion. If you didn't agree with him, you were wrong!! He loved to watch sports on tv - especially football and Little League Baseball playoffs.
He was predeceased by his parents, sister and brother, his daughter, Bobbie, wife, Jo, and grandson Jimmy Dale Wilson, Jr.
He is survived by: his daughter, Beverly Brant Winget and husband, John Winget of Little Elm, TX (formerly of Amarillo).
Grandchildren: Jennifer Graham and husband, Derek Graham of Frisco, TX, Jamie Schipper and husband, Christopher Schipper of Frisco, TX, and Christine Wilson of Amarillo.
Great grandchildren: Hayley Thompson and husband, Mitchell Thompson of Frisco, Kaitlyn Hughes of Austin, TX, Emily Graham and fiance Aaron Volkert of Dallas, TX, Jonathan Graham of Frisco, Sadie Schipper of Friscco, Evan Schipper of Frisco, Corbin Hill of Amarillo, Shelby Wilson of Amarillo, Brandon Fallos of Amarillo, Austin Fallos of Amarillo, and Kathryn Wilson of Olton,TX.
Great great grandchildren: Rory McCall, Graham Matthew, and Palmer Kate Thompson all of Frisco, TX.
