Betty Palmer was born October 28, 1924 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Earl and Martha Skelley. She served her country in the United States Army. In her younger years she enjoyed roller derby. She loved china painting, dancing, crocheting, gardening and reading. She was an amazing porcelain doll maker. She was a member of the Day Lily Club for many years. Her family was very important to her. She was a strong willed loving mother who raised six children as a single mother. She appreciated all her blessings and loved everyone whole hearted.
She is preceded in death by her parents, a daughter Martha Palmer and her siblings.
She is survived by her children Jessica Carter and husband Walter, Jerrye Fillpot, Rhonda Palmer, and husband Kevin Reid, and Beth Miller and husband Randy. Grandchilren Candice Fillpot and husband Jeff Riegelein, Thomas Hill and husband Daniel Radoff, Damitra Hill, Tyson Miller, Kori Miller, Erin Gordon and husband Drew. Along with four great grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
