Betty Burns

Betty Jean Burns of Amarillo passed away on March 10, 2024 surrounded by her loved ones. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 13, 2024 at 10 am at Memorial Park Cemetery Mausoleum with Pastor Kyle Wilkinson officiating.

She was born to Jim and Lillie Currie. She married the love of her life Bobby Burns and together they had two sons. She was a loving and caring woman who enjoyed spending time with her family. Her grandchildren were the apple of her eye. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. In her free time she enjoyed reading, sewing and camping in the mountains. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband Bobby and her parents.

Left to cherish her memory are her children Billy and Barry Burns along with her grandchildren Crystal Burns, April Barksdale, Sheena Klos and Ashley Christie.
