Betty W. Beech was born to Frank and Agnes Wideman in Placerville, CA, Betty graduated from the University of Utah and taught school in Salt Lake City. While teaching, she met her future husband, David, a Petroleum Geologist and subsequently moved extensively throughout the west. Together they had two daughters, Cindy and Chris, who were raised in Denver, along with two grandchildren, Jack and Abby. Betty was very involved in family and friend’s activities in Colorado. Moving to Amarillo, Betty found her passion of volunteering and being involved in other organizations. Betty shared her passion for traveling with her husband. Their travels took them all over the world, resulting in a lifetime of adventurous experiences. In honor of Betty, a donation could be made to North West Texas Hospital Auxiliary or the Audubon Society.
Betty is survived by her husband of 62 years, David Beech, two daughters Cindy Beech and Chris Warburton and two grandchildren, Jack Warburton and Abby Warburton.
