Alice M. Upton joined her Lord and Savior on April 29, 2020. Visitation will be Friday, May 1, 2020 from 3-5 pm at Memorial Park Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Saturday, May 2, 2020 at 10:00 am at Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel of Memories. Due to the COVID -19 restrictions, we ask that immediate family only attend the service. Alice was born March 18, 1933 in Lamar County, Texas to Ky and Bertha Boyd. She was a devoted Christian woman who loved her Lord. She was as member of Christian Heritage Church where she volunteered with the youth for many years. Her family was very important to her. Alice enjoyed sewing, quilting, playing Bunko, but most of all doing for others. She will be missed by all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband Roy Edward Upton; two son’s James Upton and Mike Boyd; her parents; and a daughter in law Bessie Upton.
Left to cherish her memory are her children Allen Upton; Steve Upton; Mary Splawn and husband Jerry; Warren Upton and Jeffery Upton. Along with several loving grandchildren and great grandchildren
