Alice Ann Browder was born on October 18, 1932 to David and Lucile Wrather in Amarillo, Texas. She was married to Perry Browder on April 22, 1950. They moved to Colorado Springs in 1956 with their three young sons. They lived there for many years while raising their family. She helped run the family businesses which included Long Holiday Motel and the Water Wheel Inn after relocating to Gunnison. Alice was a very caring and loving wife, mother and grandmother. She liked to read, visit with friends and was a strong woman of faith. She retired in 2005 to enjoy family.
Alice was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Jim Wrather
She is survived by her husband of 65 years as well as sons Joe (Chris), David (Darla) and Jim (Cheryl). She also leaves behind granddaughters Abby (David) Hyams, Kelly (Mitch) Brown, Lindsay (Justin) Yakovac, Ali Browder and Jenna Browder as well as grandsons Jason, Wes, Tyler and Zack Browder. She is also survived by 6 great grandchildren.
