Alene was a wonderful, caring and loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Her family was very important to her. She was very strong in her faith she was a member of the Christ Lutheran Church. Some of her hobbies included painting and growing many different kinds of Iris. She was a member of the North Plains Iris Society. The family would like to recognize Open Heart Home Amarillo Hospice of the Plains for all of the wonderful care and support that was given to Alene and her family during this time.
She was preceded in death by husband Larry Don Arnold; parents; sisters Bernice McAnulty and Velma Mendez. Brothers Joe Daves and Jimmy Daves.
Her survivors include her son Steven Arnold and wife Irene; grandchildren Steven E. Arnold and wife Gladys; and Adam H. Arnold. Sisters; Patsy Carnes and husband Ron; Mary Berry; Bobby Koening and husband Landon along with numerous nieces and nephews.
