Mother Troupe was born December 7, 1935 in Dothan, Alabama to the late Vance and Annie Daniels.
At the early age of 12 years old she was relocated to Staten Island, NY where she completed her early education at PS. 17 and then attended McKee High School.
Mother Troupe worked at SeaView Hospital and Home 1952 – 1958 as a nurse’s aide. After raising her children, she later worked at Mt. Loretta Juvenile Center for 10 years. She also worked at New Brighton Manor Nursing home for 7 years as a nurse’s aide.
She relocated to Casselberry, FL in 1987. She immediately began employment at South Seminole Hospital where she worked 23 years as a Unit Secretary. Mother Troupe gave her life to the Lord early 1990. She attended the Lighthouse Church of Orlando where she served as the Church Mother and was active in the Nursery ministry. One of her greatest ministries was meeting the needs of others and fulfilling her greatest pleasure of cooking and feeding friends and family. No one ever left her house without a plate of food. She had a passion for helping others and providing shelter to those in need. Her generosity and compassion toward others will be greatly missed.
Mother Troupe transitioned from this life to a life of glory Sunday November 24, 2019, surrounded by close friends and family. Her loving and caring husband Robert (Flip) preceded her in death 1987.
She leaves to cherish her memory daughters Deborah Daniels of Sanford, Annette Troupe and Rosalyn Troupe Casselberry. Son Brian Grayson, Sr., Altamonte Springs, FL. Grandchildren Bria Harris, Brian Grayson, Jr. and Kayla Grayson of Casselberry, FL. Siblings Dorothy Washington, Winter Springs, FL and Dianne Daniels, Oviedo, FL, Eugene (Diane) Daniels, Gloria Daniels and Christine McCauley, Dothan AL, Janice Daniels Kinsey, AL, Ernestine (James) Starks, Louisville, AL, Dorothy Jean Carruthers, Eufaula, AL Roy (Brenda)Daniels, Aritron, AL. Her very close friends and the entire Randazzo family. A host of family and friends will miss her dearly.
