William Paul Wagner Jr.

Billy’s loved ones who predeceased him were his parents, Lula Lacombe Wagner and Willie Wagner, Sr., and his sisters Beverly Barron and Lee Anna Rago.

He was a veteran of World War II and served in the United States Navy in the Pacific.

Billy graduated from Menard High School and attended the University of Miami where he received a degree in Electronic Engineering. He was employed by Westinghouse Electric for 12 years as an electronic engineer. He later joined TRW (a California aerospace company) where he spent the next 18 years working in the Florida area. He retired and was living in Orlando Florida.

He is survived by his son William George Wagner and his daughter Dina Shafer and husband Brian, and son Seth Wagner. He is also survived by grandchildren Savannah and her husband Stephen, Brianna, and Grace; niece Vickie Barron; nephews James Barron III and wife Cindy, William Barron and Wife Donna, and Robert Barron and wife Laurie. He is also survived by one great grandchild Annalia Bass.

An inurnment service will take place on August 24, 2022 at 11:00 am at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery.
