

William J. Diamond, 80, of Maitland, FL passed away on June 19, 2016. He was born to the late Robert and Mary Diamond in Great Neck, NY on September 26, 1935. Bill, as he was more commonly known, was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend. He was an avid fisherman, usually deep sea, and would catch whatever was biting. Professionally, Bill was an electronic technician and owned his own businesses repairing televisions. He will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him. Bill was preceded in his passing by his first wife, Marie Diamond; daughter, Judy Diamond; and brothers, Hugh and Robert Diamond. He is survived by his wife, Noelle Thompson Diamond; children, William Diamond Jr. (Susan), Edward Diamond (Theresa), Lorraine Arnold (Marc), Thomas Diamond (Sherry), Susan Klimberg, Marie Hatch (Wayne), Linda Prusaczyk (John), Ellen Peacock (Christopher), Robert Diamond (Kristen); step-children, Joseph Thompson (Tonia) and Richard Thompson (Hayley); sisters, Mary Bilogan and Katherine Wyman (Kenneth); grandchildren, McKenzie, Mary Grace, Alex, Grace, Georgia, Lauren, Nicholas, Tony, Amber, Wayne Jr., David, Marc Jr. (Rayna), Jason (Angie), Cheryl (Ross), Kenny, Judy, Ed Jr. (Jasmine), Phillip (Ashley), Courtney, Kelly (Corbin), Sean, Braydon, Audrey, and Eric; great-grandchildren, Shane, Ally, Dylan, Dexter, Gabriel, and Oliver on the way; as well as many other close family and friends. Visitation will be held Monday, June 27 from 7-9pm at Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home, 994 E Altamonte Drive, Altamonte Springs, FL 32701. Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, June 28 at 10:30am at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church, 861 Maitland Avenue, Altamonte Springs, FL 32701. Interment will follow at Glen Haven Memorial Park, 2300 Temple Drive, Winter Park, FL 32789. Memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of the Comforter in memory of Bill.
