Paul was born in Philadelphia, PA on November 29, 1948 to Mildred and Fred Strohm. His life was one of generosity and service. He served his country in the Army as a rifleman, 30 years in the Airforce Reserves and as a civilian in the Navy where his hard work and dedication as a logistics specialist helped pioneered the first paperless ship in the Navy utilizing electronic technical manuals as the primary source of data. He served his community as one of the founding fathers of Lake Howell Pop Warner, a football and cheer program that became more than just a little league…it became a family. He was inducted into the Pop Warner Hall of fame in 2008. He filled the world with his heart, smile, laughter and love. He was first and foremost a family man filling their hearts with love, laughter, smiles and countless memories. He loved his family, his friends, football, history, cooking, reading and his sweets. He will be truly missed. He is survived by his wife – Patricia Catrett-Strohm. Children – Aida (Darin) Campbell, Jennifer (Jim) Zito, Eric (Joselyn) Strohm, Angela-Jo Strohm, Holly Hackler, Nicholas (Lisa) Hackler, Carrie (Justin) Sharpe. Grandchildren – Jordyn, Tyler T., Logan, Tyler S., Jacob, Nicholas, Mackenzie, Gracie, Eric, Mattie, Dominick and Noah. Sister – Terri, Brothers Jack, Richard (dec), Fred and Donnie as well as countless nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly.
Visitation for family and friends will be held Sunday, June 10, 2018 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
Funeral Services for family and friends will be held Monday, June 11, 2018 at 10:00 AM.
Arrangements are made by The Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home located at 994 E Altamonte Dr, Altamonte Springs, FL 32701.
Burial will follow at All Faiths Memorial Park 1390 Park Dr, Casselberry, FL 32707
