Sandy Lynn Jones, 44, of Apopka, Florida went to be with her Lord on May 10, 2017. She was a loving mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. Sandy was born to Charles and Anna Appling in Orlando, Florida on May 21, 1972. She was a woman strong in her Christian faith. Sandy was generous, giving even when she had little to give. She had a positive attitude at all times, even in the face of a terrible illness. Sandy was also very social and had a bubbly, attractive personality that caused her to never know a stranger. She was also strong and courageous. Above all, Sandy was an adored mother to her two girls, Heather and Jessica. She was not only their mother, but their mentor. Sandy wanted to make a difference in the world, and she accomplished such through her girls. She also loved giraffes and monkeys, just a few of the cherished memories her family and friends will carry forever. Sandy will be deeply missed by all those whose lives she touched. Sandy was preceded in passing by her father, Charles Appling. She is survived by her daughters, Heather and Jessica Jones; her mother, Anna Appling; her sisters, Debra Crawford (Thomas), Connie Geel (Keith), and Donna Appling (Lance); her former spouse, Cliff Jones; her special friend, Jeff Hardy; her niece and nephews, Charles and Allison Crawford and George Williams III; as well as many other close relatives and many dear friends.
