Truly saddened to hear today about Luis' passing.  I am a defense attorney here in Mississippi and worked with and for him on a case for the past couple of years until it was resolved late last year.  Super professional and extremely cordial man and was a genuine pleasure to work with.   My best to his family and all those who love(d) him.  

I'm so sad to see this , Luis did my taxes since 2015 and i never met him I'm person and he even was the one that told me about Clermont and i moved to Clermont last year.
He told me about the cancer a few years ago and then that it was fine and then last year that the cancer came back , I think last time we spoke was around November and he told me he as not doing any better..i was praying for him.He never told me that his birthday was September 25 that is my same birthday.. 
My sympathy goes to his family and loved ones and i wish I could get in touch..

My sincerest condolences, we have lost a great person in Lou Rizo. I worked along side him a few years at NARS, and Lou was always ready to help with any questions I may have had. He was a hard worker, and he had character; he was the type of great person we don't find that often anymore. I cannot believe this news and it saddens my heart as I'm sure it saddens the heart of anyone who has ever been in contact with Lou. He will be greatly missed and I was glad I came across his path.

Luis was loved and cherished by everyone who knew him. He was definitely a joy to be around. I remember growing up, my family would take trips to Naples for Christmas! (Luis at one time lived in Naples, FL) He made our trips out there memorable. Knowing I was going to spend time with my cousins was all I ever looked forward to. When the day would come that we were going over to his house, it was always pure excitement. His laugh, his wit, and zest for life was infectious. My dad and him always kept each other laughing.   

As life would have it even when he was no longer legally part of our family, he always remained as family. He was all and what we knew. To hear of his untimely passing has shocked me but, he's no longer in pain or suffering.  

My heart goes out to the Rizo Family. May you find peace and strength during this difficult time. 

We have lost a great neighbor and friend. As soon as Leo introduced Luis to me and I saw that smile, I knew that we were going to be good friends. There was nothing that Luis would not do for anyone. I never had to ask him for his help in moving materials for our home renovation and addition. He was ready, willing and able to do whatever he could to help without ever expecting anything in return. 

When Leo told me that she had met her soul mate, I knew from her grin that she was right. They were a match made in heaven. They traveled everywhere and would tell us about their adventures from wherever they went. They were always planning for the next travel adventure.

Luis and Leo worked hard at everything they did, and for them, family meant everything. They were the epitome of what family should be: close knit and displaying love at all times. Their home across the street from us was (and still is) a beehive of activity every week. 

Alas, sickness and death await us all. It just arrived way too early for Luis. 1 Corinthians 15:26 calls death our enemy. We fight to keep it at bay, but in the end, death always wins. Satan is to blame. Luis did nothing to deserve to die in the manner that he did. Revelation 21:4 tells us that soon death will be no more. Also, mourning, outcry and pain will be gone. Jesus promised that all those in his Father's memory will come back to life in the promised resurrection, not in a corrupt, sinful and polluted world like this, but in a cleansed earth, a real paradise. How we long for that time when we can welcome Luis and billions of other people back to a healthy, happy life with the prospect of living forever! Jona and I long for the time when we can be there, along with Luis and all those others sleeping in the grave. 

Farewell my friend. We all miss you very much. 

Sending my prayers and condolences to the family. He was an awesome co-worker here at NARS. I truly enjoyed laughing with him when we used to be in the office. He will be missed. 

It is always the ones they leave behind who miss them the most.   

My sincere condolences to you! I worked with Luis at NARS and what I remember most is that he was always smiling.  He was such a happy guy!  I am so sorry for your loss and please know he will also be missed by his NARS family too.   



So sorry to learn of the passing of Luis.  He was a great guy who loved his family.  I enjoyed being his teammate at NARS for several years before I moved to another team and enjoyed his presence.  I will cherish the memories I have of him.  I hope he is now at peace and free of pain.  Please know that his NARS family is thinking of your family during this difficult time.  



Dear Rizo Family,

I am so sorry to hear the news about Luis.  Every year at work, they send out a birthday calendar, and we would joke about September 25th being a great day.  We were both born on September 25.  He was always kind, funny, and his smile lit up the office.

I had the pleasure of working with Luis over the last 10 years.  He was very knowledgeable and always offered to help in anyway that he could.  He will be dearly missed.  My condolences to Luis' family and friends.
