Loretta Mary (Irvin) Kubik, 94, formerly of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and Orlando, Florida departed this life peacefully on January 27, 2020, in the gentle hands of Vitas Hospice. Loretta was wife to the late Henry Kubik for 38 years. She was the devoted mother to daughter Donna (husband Donald) and daughter Cynthia (husband Richard). Loretta was grandmother to Michael (wife Jenny), Amy (husband Mark), Melissa (husband David), Stephen and Kevin. She was great-grandmother to Tanner, Brayden, Henry, Eleanor, Violet, Levi, Judah and Ashlyn. A celebration of her life will take place this Saturday 2/1/2020.
Loretta was born in Fannett Township, Pennsylvania. She was one of seven children growing up on a small farm in the rural community of Amberson Valley. Loretta’s hobbies were gardening, sewing, and reading biographies. She was a homemaker, a school lunch baker, and a church volunteer at Church of the Holy Spirit. She enjoyed spending time with her family and especially with the grandchildren. Loretta will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
