Grace Ann Frenk

Grace was born to Edward and Julia Ameiss in St. Louis, Missouri, and was baptized and confirmed in the Christian faith at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in St. Louis. Grace graduated with a degree in music from the Saint Louis Institute of Music and taught private music lessons for 40 years.

She married Pastor Erdman Frenk in 1950, and together they served parishes in Augusta, Georgia, North Palm Beach, Florida, and Roswell, Georgia. Grace was the organist and director of choirs, and enjoyed teaching Sunday school in these congregations. In addition to her love for serving the Church, Grace loved music, reading, gardening and golfing.

Grace was preceded in death by her dear husband Erdman in 2005 and her beloved son Christopher in 2019. They are now joyfully reunited and together rejoicing in the presence of Jesus! She is survived by her loving daughter, Elise.

A visitation will be held on Friday, September 15, 2023 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home, 994 East Altamonte Drive, Altamonte Springs, Florida 32701.

The service of Christian committal will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 16, 2023 at All Faiths Memorial Park, 1390 Park Drive, Casselberry, Florida 32707.

A memorial service of worship celebrating the goodness of God and His many blessings upon Grace will be held on Saturday, September 16, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Ascension Lutheran Church, 351 Ascension Drive, Casselberry, Florida 32707. A light reception luncheon will follow the service.

In lieu of flowers the family kindly requests that memorials in Grace’s name be provided to Ascension Lutheran Church.
