Frankie Alonzo Franklin, 65, of Altamonte Springs, Florida passed away on August 6, 2021. He was born on June 3, 1956 in Hudson, New York to the late Edward and Rosalea (Hickman) Franklin. Frankie was a retired welder for the United States Air Force. He was honorably discharged as an Airman 1st Class and served from October 18, 1974-May 18, 1976.
Frankie’s hobbies included martial arts and was passionate about boxing and kickboxing. He was an amazing singer, cook and quite a businessman. He was a great father.
He is survived by his son, Orisa “Ori” Franklin and sister, Mary Elizabeth Franklin (Robin).
A Celebration of Life Service will be at 1pm, Sunday, September 5, 2021 at Baldwin-Fairchild Funeral Home-East Altamonte Chapel, 994 East Altamonte Drive, Altamonte Springs, FL 32701. A Committal Service with Military Honors will be at 9:30am, Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery, 5525 US Highway 1, Mims, FL 32754.
