Elva Jeanette Ross, 90, passed away on December 19, 2023, in Altamonte Springs, Florida. She was born in Carbondale, Pennsylvania to Louise (Von Beck) and Pierce Danque and had one sister, Marise (deceased). She grew up in Horseheads NY. As a young woman, Elva proudly served our country as a WAVE in the U.S. Navy. Elva was married to Ron Coppola for many years and then found happiness with Charles Ross as her second husband. Elva worked at WFTV and WDBO television stations as a sales coordinator for most of her adult life.
She was a loving mother to four daughters, Cheryl, Nancy (Bill), Janet (Steve), and Melissa (Steve), seven grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren with another on the way.
Elva is predeceased by her parents, Louise and Pierce Danque, sister Marise, and husbands Ron Coppola and Charles Ross. She will be remembered as a strong woman of faith who loved her family. Rest in well-earned peace, Elva.
