Cynthia Ann Mitchell

Mitchell, Cynthia A. : April 25, 1939 - July 30, 2015. Cynthia was born in New London, Connecticut and died in Longwood Florida with her family by her side. She is preceded in death by her husband, Willis "Mitch" Mitchell, parents, Pericles and Sophie Haleftiras, and step-son, Mark Mitchell. She is survived by her siblings Catherin Osborn, Pericles Haleftiras, and Carol Phillips. She is also survived by her children Heidi Beavers (Don) and Leo Dousis (Robin) as well as her step-children, John Mitchell (Paula), Steven Mitchell (Marie), Lori Mitchell, and Dean Mitchell (Sherrie). She is also survived by 9 grandchildren (Krystin, Paul, Jamilee, Ashley, Paige, Jefferie, Ted, Karilyn, and James) and several great-grandchildren. Cynthia was a wonderfully talented seamstress with a flair for creating exquisite wedding gowns. She donated many of her hand woven creations to charity and loved to decorate and work on her needlepoint pictures. She loved spending time with friends and entertaining. A memorial service will be held at Wekiva Presbyterian Church (211 Wekiva Springs Lane, Longwood, FL 32779) at 11am on Friday, August 7th.
