Anna Katherine Lacy

She resided in Orlando, Florida with her daughter and son-in-law since 2005. She was born and raised in West Virginia and resided in Chesapeake, WV for most of her life. She was a graduate of East Bank High School in the class of 1949.

She was an avid football fan and faithfully cheered on her favorite teams; Marshall Thundering Herd, West Virginia Mountaineers, and the Florida State Seminoles.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Shirley Earl Lacy; parents Elizabeth Lore Lavender and Henry Lavender Sr.; brothers Joe Lavender, Henry Lavender Jr., Richard Lavender, Aleck Lavender and sisters Lillian Lavender and Julia Greathouse.

She is survived by her daughter Teresa Walker and husband Kevin; granddaughter Brittany Kell and husband Kevin, and cherished great-grandchildren Logan Matthew and Haley Elizabeth. She is also survived by her sisters Margaret Jarrell of Tupelo, MS and Betty Jean Legg of Tornado, WV.

She was cremated by Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home in Altamonte Springs, Florida and will be laid to rest alongside her husband at Cunningham Memorial Park in St. Albans, WV at a later date.
