Of Alexandria, VA passed away at her home Thursday, June 16, 2011. She is survived by her nieces, Liz Hunter and Sara Denholm (Michael); sister, Wanda Canada; brothers, John Verhine (Gloria) and Forrest Verhine (Joan); special friend and neighbor, John Brindzik; many other loving family and friends. She also leaves her dog, Rusty. Visitation will be Monday, June 20 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Demaine Funeral Home Alexandria, VA. A graveside service will be Tuesday, June 21 at 11 a.m. in Mount Comfort Cemetery.
