I also have known Leah for many years as her parents and my parents were very good friends from West Point days on even when they both moved to the Fairfax and lived  there  until the end of their lives. Leah was in Army Daughters with us so that I was able to see her often until I moved to California. My condolences to her nephews who have been so good to her these last few years.

I was saddened and shocked to learn of Leah's death.
We were friends for many years through Army Daughters, and I knew Leah's mother and sister.
Due to covid we had only been in touch by phone yet we kept in regular contact. I had hoped that this year her holidays would be more festive.
Leah enjoyed being social and the restrictions imposed due to covid greatly diminished her activities and I'm sorry that she was unable to reunite with her friends and enjoy their company.
She did appreciate and enjoy visits with her nephew and hearing about his Bassett Hound puppy.
June 30 will be my Leah day. I will be happy having known her and wish that she is at peace.
