Mrs. Jacobi was one of my other moms growing up.  I've known her since I was 5.  That's 36 years total.  I spent so many afternoons, year after year, playing at her house with Mary.  I loved being there.  She let me crack my first egg.  Actually, she let me attempt to do it, and it missed the bowl.  She comforted me and just pulled out another egg for me to crack.  I was relieved.  She never yelled.  She's been in my life ever since - my 7th grade English teacher (still no yelling), my bridal shower, my wedding, my baby shower.  One of my mother's dearest friends.  She was smiling when she was healthy.  She was smiling when she was sick.  She was always smiling.  No exception the last time I saw her, just a few months ago at my brother's wedding.  "How are you?" she asked, no indication of pain, just a glint in her eyes.  And smiling.  

Mary and Elizabeth, I was so fortunate to know your mom, and to be a recipient of her smile.  I think of her and you often.  My whole family will miss her dearly.  Love, ange

I loved meeting Mrs. Jacobi.  She was warm and kind and very sweet to me... a perfect host, and clearly a great Mom.  I am grateful I got to meet her.

We met Janet only a few years ago but feel truly blessed to have known her.  She was elegent, gracious and had a wonderful heart.  We will miss Janet and our thoughts and prayers go out to her family.

Aunt Janet was so special to me.   Not only was she my dearbGidmother, but when Richard and William and I moved down to VA, she graciously shared her home with us and went out of her way to make us feel so special.  That year living in VA was so special to us and I cherish those memories and keep them close to my heart.    I loved talking and being with Aunt Janet.   She will be missed dearly but her loving memories will stay alive forever!   I know she is with Uncle Jim and her sisters and brother now at peace.

I had Ms. Jacobi as a teacher many years ago and still remember her bright smile and welcoming personality. So sorry for your loss.

You are in my thoughts and prayers. Your Mom was a lovely lady and always came to volunteer with a smile on her face.  She will be missed, but do know her legacy lives on in each of us.

I enjoyed volunteering with her at SH library ten plus years ago. She always had  a smile on her face!!! We did 'delivery' together.
  I remember her walking to W.M.  school with a large dog. Elizabeth & my son were in school together for many years.
Remember the happy times!!!!

Aunt Janet was always a bright light in our lives.  We will miss her.
