Helen Elizabeth Murphy died on Thursday, December 13, 2012. daughter of the late Keith and Virginia Cool. Helen is predeceased by her husband Joseph Bernard Murphy, Colonel, U.S. Army (Retired) Loving mother of Mark Murphy and his wife Donna, Jan Kellstrom and her husband Ken and Elizabeth Sheehan and her husband Jerry. Devoted grandmother of Kristin Kellstrom, Jenna Kellstrom, Lynn Murphy, Becca Murphy, Scott Sheehan, Karlie Kellstrom, Luke Murphy and Paige Sheehan. Friends may call at the Demaine Funeral Home, 520 S. Washington Street, Alexandria, VA 22314 where the family will be present on Thursday, December 20th from 6-8:00pm and where funeral services will begin at 7:00pm. Interment will follow at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
