Harry Thomas O'Brien

Harry Thomas O’Brien (age 83) of Alexandria, VA passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 26, 2015. He was the beloved husband of Mary Ann O’Brien and loving father of Kevin O’Brien, Ann (Danny) Meier, Mary (Tony) Chitwood, Franny (Mike) Curtis, Tim (Tara) O'Brien and Jenny (Todd) Brymer. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, October 2, 2015 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 8710 Mount Vernon Highway, Alexandria, VA 22309 at 11:00 am. Interment will be at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Poor Clare Monastery, 2505 Stonehedge Drive, Alexandria, VA 22306-2499. Demaine Funeral Home, 520 S. Washington Street, Alexandria, VA 22314 is handling the arrangements.
