Fred was a great person and friend . I was very sorry to hear of his passing .

We just got back from vacation and are very sad to hear of Fred's passing.  He was a kind man who helped us out more times that I can mention - we adopted him as our "neighbor dad" after we bought our first house.  I hope you can let all the wonderful memories from the past carry you through this difficult time.  We miss you!

I was so sorry to learn of Freds passing. He was a good friend of the VA State Police and I could see a well loved husband and father. You all really looked happy to be with each other every time I saw you. Even the last time I saw Fred you were all together at Mikes Italian Resturant on Rt. 1.
Every time I went to the Hunter to eat Fred always made me (and all of the Troopers) feel like a VIP. My family and I will have precious memories of the Christmas Dinner's at the Hunter, and enjoying all of your company at the VSPA conferences.

Please know that Fred and all of your family  will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Sam and I  are so very saddened to learn of your sorrow. Ellen told me last night at the Memorial Mass for the Ladies of Charity. Our prayers and condolences.

You are in our prayers. Mr. Tyler was very good to the troopers over the years. Especially in January 2001 when the first Virginia State Troopers were sent into DC for the President George W. Bush inaugural. It sure was early and cold outside in his parking lot that morning but I will always recall how nice he was to us. God Bless him!

I never had the Honor of meeting Fred, but have heard of his kindness for many years from other members of the Virginia State Police. He will be missed by those who had the honor of meeting him, and those of us who know of his good deeds and kindness. May God be with him always, and with his family.
