Estelle Caporaletti Robinson (Age 94) of Alexandria, Virginia died Sunday, November 26, 2017 surrounded by her family. Estelle was a product of the Greatest Generation, she was always put together and very poised. Estelle was born on December 7, 1922 in Alexandria, VA.
Estelle was born into a large Italian Family in Alexandria where she lived her entire life. She worked as an administrative assistant in the Engineering Department at Fort Belvior, in Alexandria, Virginia during World War Two. She raised her family here, she and her husband Boyd Robinson were active members of the Alexandria community. One of Estelle’s favorite gatherings was her reunion lunches at GW High School. She was proud to the oldest class member in attendance. Estelle will be remembered for her fashion sense and her ability to remember every detail. She lead a long, healthy life.
She leaves her son, James Robinson and wife Penny, daughter-in-law Peggy Robinson her sister Margarete Browder, granddaughters Jennifer Pellegrini and her husband Brian, Katie Pence and her husband Billie, grandsons Nicholas Robinson and his fiancé Teal Tobler, Jesse Robinson, great grandchildren Grant Robinson, Cole Robinson and Ellie Pellegrini, as well as numerous nieces and nephews
Preceded by her parents Anthony and Selma Caporaletti, husband and life partner of 63 years H. Boyd Robinson, son Douglas Robinson, her brother Victor and wife Ardis Caporaletti, Raymond Caporaletti, Robert Caporaletti, Oraziod Caporaletti, sister Virginia Kapp and her husband Gene Kapp.
The visitation will be held from 10:30 AM until 12:30 PM on Thursday, November 30, 2017. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 30, 2017 at 12:30 at Demaine Funeral Home with the burial to follow at Mount Comfort Cemetery in Alexandria, VA.
