David Lisi passed away peacefullly at Mount Vernon Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Alexandria on July 20, 2017.
David graduated from Thomas Edison High School in Fairfax County and then attended the Peabody Conservatory in Baltimore, where he studied woodwinds.
In 1969 he volunteered for the draft and served in the 4th Infantry Division Army Band in Vietnam from May 1969 through 1970.
Upon discharge from the army he returned to Alexandria and worked at John Lawrence & Associates in Falls Church, Va., and subsequently at Pevco Pneumatic Tube Systems in Baltimore, Md.
David is survived by his sister Ursula Lisi Elgert (Gerald), brothers Arthur Lisi, Dale Lisi (Carol) and Ferdinand Lisi (Ann), nine nieces and nephews and many friends.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, July 29, at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 8710 Mount Vernon Highway, Alexandria. Burial will be at Mount Comfort Cemetery in Alexandria.
